The Challenge
Visual identity and interactive website design for Maynooth Uni research project. Creating a web style guide for developers to use when building the site.
Irish Cinema Histories is a project that looks at the history of Cinema in Ireland–focusing on community and the impact on Irish Society.
The Result
Along with the developer I created a custom website that is modern while staying sensitive to the historic content.
The website is designed to build upon the notion of layering the different time periods and different media sources – objects, ephemera, decoration, food, colours, newspaper clippings, black and white photos, letters, video – capturing the feeling within the community during the time.
